Rob Kaplan

Rob started making TV human interest documentaries like Modern Times and Cutting Edge for the BBC and Channel 4, which progressed to writing/directing thrilling drama documentaries for US TV. He then made the move to commercials, soon winning the Shots new director award in Cannes.

Rob also knows all about shooting automotive vehicles – how to make metal look shiny, engines sound powerful and leather smell good. As such, he’s worked for the likes of Land Rover, Mazda, Nissan and Triumph.

Rob is able to combine the sensitivities of lifestyle and human interest, grounded in documentary, with highly developed technical and stylistic skills, honed in advertising.
