Mireia Pujol began her career directing shorts and working on high profile Spanish films, which gave her access to important directors such as José Luis Cuerda. This rich cinematic education drove her to become a commercials director.
She has worked for Audi, Coca Cola, Dewars White Label, Vodafone, and more. With a strong cinematographic flavour, her work shows the importance of taking risks, as well as attention to detail.
She recently directed a short documentary film, 'Diary of Hunger', that is about the conflict of the migration in Europe. It has been selected by the prestigious International Documentary Film Festival of Amsterdam. She is currently developing her first feature film called, titled 'Vera’.
